The Ultimate Health Boost - Clearing Your Chakras!

by Gina Sherman

We live in a world where it takes an awful lot of energy just to make it through your day. We have overscheduled calendars and need to remain on the go constantly; it can be exhausting! You need to recharge your energy from time to time so that you can keep going for your goals and achieving them.

There is more to this than simply your physical condition and energy; your mental and spiritual health is equally important. You need all three to be in balance to allow you to move forward and develop your personal and professional life.

Every one of us has energy centers called chakras throughout our bodies. Our chakras are responsible for ensuring the proper flow of energy throughout our bodies; they are also a link between your outer and inner selves.

Chakras allow you to take in energy from the universe and to use this energy to accomplish your goals. Without taking the time to regularly maintain these vital energy centers, your energy level ? mental, physical and spiritual can become low. Clearing chakras is important to your health, just like getting a routine physical exam.

Your primary chakras are situated along your spinal column, but there are chakras which are found all through your body. Each chakra is responsible for different biological functions as well as personality traits. You can work on your chakras one by one to make them healthy and in harmony with one another.

The Unbelievable Influence Of Subconscious Mind Power

by Ronald Bigley

You've probably heard the phrase 'if you build it, they will come' plenty of times before, whether or not you've ever actually watched the movie Field of Dreams. Now substitute the word 'think' for 'build' and 'they' with 'anything you want'. If you can imagine it, you can make it happen.

You already have all of the power you need to change everything about your life for the better " it's inside of you; in your subconscious mind. In fact, your mind is much more powerful than you've probably ever imagined. It can heal you, help you to transcend the physical world and to make yourself feel the heights of elation or the depths of despair. If you could learn to control your subconscious mind power, you can do things you've only imagined.

You're probably skeptical about this idea, but bear with me a moment. One example which may help you to see the possibilities comes from the world of clinical trials: the placebo effect. The control group in a test are given a placebo and the experimental group are given the medication being tested, though neither group knows whether or not it is actually receiving the drug.

In many trials, you'll see both the experimental groups and the control groups claiming to have pretty much the same results. Both groups think that they're receiving the medication and their subconscious mind power goes to work, making them actually experience the effects which they believed would occur.

For this reason, some physicians would rather not tell patients about the side effects of a given drug when prescribing it for the first time. Since they know that the power of suggestion can cause their patients to experience these effects, they may omit these details to prevent this from happening.

You can help to cultivate your subconscious power by harnessing this power of suggestion. After all, if it works in clinical trials, why can't it work for you? This can be an effective means of communicating with your subconscious and unlocking its true potential.

Apple iPad Tablet (64GB, Wifi + 3G) Review

by Craig Wisenhunt

I've now spent the better part of a day playing with the new iPad, and while it excels in many things there are still some things anyone considering buying one should probably keep in mind.

First the good sides:

This thing is very fast, opening and closing applications is quick, the screen is incredibly responsive, there is no lag while typing, and the built in Safari browser does a great job of quickly loading even graphic intense pages.

The not so good sides:

As has been thoroughly pointed out, there is not presently much in the way of multitasking within the iPhone OS, but with most expectations pointing towards a summer release of OS 4.0 this might be remedied by mid summer, and almost certainly by a generation 2 release. That said, it should be kept in mind that on such a little screen being able to view multiple applications at once will likely never be something you'll use, and the speed by which you can open and close applications makes this less a headache than you might think. It isn't as fast as moving between open apps, but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. The lack of a camera in this generation is a little surprising, while I've purchased my iPad already, I honestly believe that with the number of competitors expected over the course of 2010 we're probably going to see a generation 2 by Christmas with a camera. It's still an amazing device, but the ability to video chat with it would definitely put it over the top, that's a feature worth waiting for. The lack of Flash support isn't as irritating as I expected it to be, but still something to consider. Many major sites have evolved to html5, or are in the process of doing so. This allows for full viewing by the Safari browser, and where it exists, it works great. The remaining sites still using Flash show up with annoying little boxes looking for a plugin that is likely never going to exist. If you spend a lot of time on flash heavy sites it really probably is worth considering holding out to see how the Slate/Android Tablets look in a few months, but if you're mostly just e-mailing and checking facebook (no Farmville) the lack of Flash support probably won't bother you too much.
